When did you start an interest in rodeo? My Dad and cousin Danny
What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? Hockey
What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo? At the PIRA finals in Kahk my friend Cody Curley and I were sharing a tent. Then when I was laying there and talking to the people in the other tent, Cody sat up and started yelling stuff like “SPUR” and “RIDE HIM” then he laid back down the other people started laughing.  Cody then got up again and started talking to me and didn’t remember what had happened. 

The there was another time at the rodeo at Lac La Biche Cody Curley, Nakoda Pooyak, and I were hanging around the before the rodeo. We were chasing the Break-away calves around, then I was trying to get a calf with a twine on his neck down so we didn’t get in trouble. Then when I approached him he jumped right left then right again then pretended to go left then went right so I went left and stepped in some cow poop I slipped and the calf jumped over me kicking my hat out of my hand, then my whole body slid into the poop and I got up covered in it and my friends were laughing there hearts out.

What advice would you give to Indian youth about rodeo or anything in general? Go to rodeos and watch, and then if you do like it and know you would be committed and won’t give up.
What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate in rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support to get involved? Go to rodeos!

What was your most memorable ride or run?  The night at the IIFR where I won the round on my birthday.
