When did you start an interest in rodeo? I always had
a interest my dad raised horses and rode bulls I rode sheep when I was 2 and calves when I was 5 and kept going until now
and I'm riding bulls.
What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? I used to
play Hockey, Basketball, Baseball and Football but was only good at hockey
What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo?
There are always funny things but at this years IIFR they were trying to get me to do a victory lap on a horse and
when I told the guy I didnt know how everyone was trying to convince me to ride and I agreed then they tried to put me on
a kinda crazy pick up mans horse so I told him I didnt want to ride and I ended up being aloud to just walk out and tip my
hat a few people seem to think thats funny
What advice would you give to Indian youth about rodeo or anything
in
general? Just if you really want to do anything try your hardest
I am not that old or experienced but I do know that people are always willing to help if you ask them and treat them good.
What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate
in
rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support to get involved? I have seen a few cowboys without the
resources or support get into it its just a matter of finding someone willing to help or that can help you and being dedicated
enough
yourself to do it if you try hard enough people won't mind helping you
Are there any songs that inspire or pump you up before you ride or
rope?Basically anything that sounds all right I like Jump Around by House Of Pain but what ever is playing I enjoy

My dad Art LaPlante and my good buddy JC Curley and Curtis Taypotat has really helped me out recently
