When did you start an interest in rodeo? 6 years old What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? Soccer
and Track and Field What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo? Traveled two days
to Navajo Nation Fair waited all day for my section in the break away roping, dosed off while waiting and when I woke up the
rodeo was over and I missed my calf, man I was choked, but I still laugh about it today What advice would you give to
Indian youth about rodeo or anything in general? Never quit learning, keep an open mind and learn from your mistakes. What
advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate in rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support
to get involved? Hang around and offer your help and watch for the successful
trainers, there’s usually people around that will give pointers and tips and help out when they see some one starting
out. Apprentice under different trainers or take some clinics and find out by
trial and error what program works best for you. Are there any songs that
inspire or pump you up before you ride or rope? I like to listen to calm, laid back old fashion country to ease my nerves. What
would you like to see more of at Indian Rodeos? Bigger purse and trophies What are/is your favorite western movie(s)?
Broke Back Mountain “jokes’ not! What is your favorite music? Gwen Stephanie, Destinies Child, 50cent,
Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Don Williams What was your most memorable ride or run? My fastest Breakaway roping
time was a 1.96 seconds it felt like I blinked and when I opened my eyes my rope was on and the barrier was good. Who is your all time hero? Charmayne James & Molly Powell World Champion Barrel Racers,
Shawna Sapergia World Champion Reiner What Indian Cowboy or Cowgirl has influenced you to rodeo? Fay Nelson helped
me get started when I was very young, I will always be thankful to her for that. Would you like to thank sponsors and
or anyone for your success in rodeo? My Father and late mother made me work hard and earn my way into Rodeo, it didn’t
come easy we had struggles but when I finally got somewhere I was grateful for all that I learned along the way. I worked for several trainers I trained my own horses and that in it self is a huge accomplishment and
learning process. My father is my biggest supporter and sponsor he
shares the love of horsemanship, training, and rodeo I couldn’t be out there doing what I love without him.
