Association member of: PIRA, CCA, CPRA Rodeo Accomplishments: PIRA Finalist When did you start an interest in rodeo? I have been interested in Rodeo for as long as I can remember! What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? Golf, Fishing, Hockey What
is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo? Definitely
Crash Cooper doing what he does! What
advice would you give to Indian youth about rodeo or anything in general? If
you're going to do something, do it full throttle or not at all. Success can only come with commitment. What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted
to participate in rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support to get involved? All they have to do is ask someone who is already involved in rodeo. There is such a family atmosphere in rodeo that
everyone is willing to help out. The people involved with rodeo are willing to promote it by helping someone else get started.
Are there any songs that inspire
or pump you up before you ride or rope? I try not to waste any energy
or adrenaline shortly before a ride. Chris Ledoux music and other country songs help the miles go by on the way to a rodeo.
What would you like to see more
of at Indian Rodeos? Money $$$$$$$$ What are/is your favorite western movie(s)? Tombstone
What is your favorite music? Country What was your most memorable ride or run? Riding Warlord in the
long go at the Sintaluta Bull a Rama. It wasn't the highest scoring ride but I got back at him for drilling me and hooking
the tar out of me at Gordon's F.N.! He also helped me split 3/4 in the avg. Who is your all time hero? Tough
call... maybe a combo of Muhammad Ali & Jim Sharp What Indian Cowboy or Cowgirl has influenced you to rodeo? The
success of the Taypotat family definitely had an influence because I've known them since I was a kid. Would you like to thank sponsors and or anyone for your
success in rodeo? Thanks to anyone who has helped me along the way with
rides n’ stuff, or even just good karma! Thanks Emmit McArthur for helping me get started down the road. Thanks to Dicky
Bear for being honest and supportive (he told me it was gonna hurt!). Thanks to PIRA for giving us another place to do what
we love. Above all thanks to the Creator for the people that Rodeo has brought into my life.
