BPIRA - Bear Paw Indian Rodeo Association
The Bear Paw Indian Rodeo Association kicked off the 2009 season on May 31st. The bucking horses came out on fire sending
everyone one home empty handed. The BPIRA board has now added $400.00 dollars in the saddle bronc for the June 13th and June
14th rodeos. Cody Four Colors made the only qualified ride in the Bull Riding. Cody is coming off his first PBR event
in New Mexico earlier in the year and seems to have everything clicking right now. In the Tie Down Roping the Watson
boys took home 1st and 2nd. Eric's time of 9.9 and Darrel had a 10.4 The Cole Boys from Fort Belknap proved to much in the
Team Roping Chris and Jim Cole turned in a smoking run of 5.5 to win it while Nolan Conway had a profitable day winning first
in the Steer Wrestling with a time of 4.5 and winning second in the Team Roping with Dustin Bird. Bucking Horses provided
by Outlaws and Inlaws Bucking Horses, Bulls Provided by Bird Bucking Bulls, and all Cattle provided by Flying Rock Cattle
Company.
