did you start an interest in rodeo? When my dad was practicing calf roping, he’d put me on buckin calves, his
piggin string was my bull rope. What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? Ice Hockey, Powwow, Curling. What
is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo? My traveling potna James Greene shaved Rusty
coyotes Eyebrows, the next day he thought we were laughing at his messy bed head!! We didn’t tell him for two days!!.........Another
time I was getting hung up on a bull in Sask. Dickie Bear was fighting bulls that day, he says I screamed like a lil girl
but I’d call it more of a manly yell!!
What advice would you give to Indian youth about rodeo or
anything in general? I’d say to watch a rodeo wrecks/bloopers tape and see what and can go wrong in this game,
and if your still pumped to rodeo, GO HARD!!! What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate
in rodeo but didn’t have the resources or support to get involved? Just to hang out with your local
rodeo cowboy, bail in for a few rodeos, meet more cowboys, and pick enough bottles to get into your first rodeo school!! Learn
from a Pro.. Are there any songs that inspire or pump you up before you ride or rope? ”Whiskey in
the jar”- Mettalica….”Cowboy” – Kid Rock, “Ghetto Cowboy”- Bone n Thugs… What
would you like to see more of at Indian Rodeos ? More juicier purses. What
are/is your favorite western movie(s)? The Missing, When legends Die, Young Guns What is your favorite
music? Powwow hits, Rockin country, some Gangsta Rap (sorry Darrell) What was your most memorable ride
or run? Probably the first bull I rode at my first I.N.F.R. The crowd
was crazy!! Total Rush !!! Who is your all time hero? C.L. Johnson-Hall of fame stuntman / World Indian
Champion Bullrider !! What
Indian Cowboy influenced you to rodeo? My Dad got me roping me as a lil kid.
I watched Clint Bruisedhead ride Broncs as a kid, and I thought “Darn I wanna be like Clint”, and to this
day I still do!
