2005 IIFR World Bareback Champion Nelson Tsosie was well-respected by peers and appreciated by friends and fans throughout Indian Rodeo. Once in a decade a talented rodeo athlete emerges and dominates his event. Such was the case, with Nelson Tsosie. Nelson was one tough cowboy - and his  talent carried him to many championship titles. His Indian Rodeo family, is saddened by the news of his passing;  we will miss his friendship in and around the arena; he had a winning smile and winning approach to life.  Our most sincere condolences are extended to his family.
