I am a Bull Fighter. I protect Bull Riders. Association member of: Professional
Bull Fighters (PBF), PBR, IIFR, INFR Rodeo Accomplishments: Became one
of the first Native Americans on the Professional Bull Fighters tour. Awarded the Daisy “Take Aim at Safety” MVP
Award, an engraved 1894 lever action rifle, Presented by Daisy Outdoor Products. I instructed my first Protection Bull Fighting
school in 2009, in conjunction with Gary Laffew’s Bull Riding School. When did you start an interest in
rodeo? Back in HS, I was a Sophomore trying to ride bulls, and it lasted a year. I was
terrible at it, getting bucked off, donating money and getting hung up most of the time. So I went from Riding Bulls to Fighting
Bulls. Best decision I ever made! What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy? Basketball. What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo? Where do I begin: Hanging out with some funny characters (friends), always leads to funny moments. They always do
something hilarious. I’m sure they wouldn’t want me to tell. What advice would you give to Indian
youth about rodeo or anything in general? Do what makes you Happy. Live life with an
open mind. What advice would you give to Indian youth who wanted to participate in rodeo but didn’t
have the resources or support to get involved? There is always someone looking to teach
or to inspire. When you find that person, be prepared and be willing to learn their ways. Hard work eventually pays off. Are
there any songs that inspire or pump you up before you enter the arena to protect Bull Riders? “Becoming The Bull” by Atreyu What would you like to see more of at Indian Rodeos? An appreciation for Bull Fighters. We’re always over looked and very under paid. What
are your favorite western movies? Lonesome Dove, Young Guns, Tombstone and Little Big
Man. What is your favorite music? Metal relaxes me but gets me wicked
pumped before a show. Hip Hop gets me dancing. What was your most memorable Bull Fight? My first PBR/PBF event in Farmington, NM. Competed against the top Bull Fighters in North America and in front of
my Loving Family. Who are your all time heroes? My Mom, Neva Talayumptewa
and my Dad, Peter Lincoln. What Indian Cowboys have influenced you to rodeo? My
friends. Bert Jones, Kevin Salazar and Shawn Reid. Would you like to thank sponsors and or anyone for your success
